The multistage irreversible deformation in the case of tension of multilayer composites is studied from viewpoint of a dynamics as a function of structural-temporal characteristics and static mechanical characteristics. Experimental stress–strain curves of fibre metal laminates under static and dynamic loading are analyzed on the basis of extended relaxation model of plasticity for heterogeneous materials. The obtained results can be of interest for composite materials.
