The development of physical foundations and approptiate gear, as well as experimental testing of the concept of local energy forcing on high-speed gas streams aimed to improve aerodynamic properties of streamlined bodies is described. According to thermodynamics of gas flows, supply of energy to the subsonic stream increases Mach number, while energy supply to the supersonic flow decreases it. The development of a principally new generator of independent plasma discharge with high frequency of consumed energy transformation and high stability of plasma parameters is also discussed.
