The paper focuses on an idea of a “sacred deal/sacrum commercium” in Ch. F. Gellert's Hochheiliges Geschäft that tell in poetic form about a central idea of the doctrine of salvation - the inner relation between the Incarnation of God is the deification of man. The paper traces how this study originated and developed and what role it played in the spiritual life in Germany in the 18th century.
