The description of the main geometric and analytic tools of a complex WKB method for adiabatic problems was discussed. The asymptotic behavior of solutions of the one-dimensional Schrödingerequation was also discussed. In solid state physics, these equations model behavior of electrons in crystals placed in an external field. An analog was developed to study these exponentially small effects.
