A comparative research study was conducted to contrast team-role behavior of managers-women and managers-men in cross-functional strategic teams in Russian companies. and how this behavior influences the efficiency of managers’ interactions in reaching organization strategic goals. Empirical data that was collected will allow us to differentiate models of team-role behavior of managers. conditioned by their gender attributes. Gender differences in team-role preferences find their realization in the selection of different functional roles within strategic team in decision making process.
