A gas-chromatographic method for determination of lower alcohols in atmospheric air in the concentration range of 0.05 to 100 mg/m3, based on chromatomembrane preconcentration of the alcohols in water, is described. Advantages of the preconcentration method proposed in comparison to adsorption on activated carbon are shown.
