The article consists of a historical-nomenclatorial and illustrated catalogue of aquatic gastropod taxa introduced by the Uzbek zoologist Professor Zuvaidullo I. Izzatullaev during his lifelong investigations of Central Asian water bodies. The catalogue includes full accounts for 32 species of branchiate snails in 7 families, and 14 species of pulmonates in 2 families. For each species the reference to the original description, etymology of the name, relevant literature, type locality, type and non-type material, general distribution, ecology (including original data), and remarks are presented. The type specimens stored in the collection of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Saint Petersburg, Russia) are figured in colour. SEM images and colour photographs of topotypes stored in other scientific institutions in Russia and Tajikistan are also presented.
