The aim of this paper is to apply asymptotic methods to the solution of the eigenvalue problem for a rotating shell. Author uses Novozhilov's two-dimensional shell theory to obtain the equations for the vibration of the shell and the theory of asymptotic integration of the differential equation to solve the eigenvalue problem for these equations.
