The questions of the influence of the degree of gley formation on physical, mechanical and infiltrational properties of clay-rocks are dealt with. A new method of estimating of the effect of gley and its use in projecting and constructing of meliorative systems, eg in the central areas of West Georgia is proposed. -English summary
