The development and dissemination of distance learning technologies in market conditions bring about the development of management approaches that reduce training costs while ensuring high quality results. Some problems and features of using the distance learning projects are considered. An analysis of the general methodological aspects of the organization of such training is conducted, funding sources and infrastructural components are indentified, approaches to the implementation of such projects in practice are formulated. The experience of application the distance learning system in the university is studied, the dependence of the costs of course creation and their amount is analyzed, and the dynamics of the number of students and the training costs are examined.
