A nonequilibrium equation of state is investigated using the hydrodynamic approach to the description of heavy-ion collisions at intermediate energies. The stages of compression, expansion, and the freeze-out of the hot spot formed in the collisions are considered. The calculated energy spectra of the protons produced in the heavy-ion collisions are compared to experimental data.
