The problem of fatigue fracture of aging elastic-viscous materials subjected to cyclic compression is considered. Investigations of the mechanical properties of polyurethane in the experiments on pressure were carried out. In the experiments the specimens without aging and with the climate and deformation aging (about twelve years) were used. The problem of thin layer made of incompressible viscous material subjected to compression by two long parallel plates is considered. The stress diagrams for the unaged and aged material are constructed. It is shown, that on the surface and inside of the pressed layer the state of hydrostatic pressure is occurred. The value of this state is increased with the increasing of aging effect and the loading rate. Superposition of these effects is the main cause of degradation and fracture of material in the process of cyclic pressure. The received results can be applied to estimate the fatigue life of different elastic viscous materials (natural and artificial rubbers, polyure
