This is an erratum to the paper 'Electron-positron pairs in hot plasma of accretion column in bright X-ray pulsars' that was published inMon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. Letters, 485, L131-L135 (2019). In the original version of this article the author, Alexander Mushtukov, was incorrectly listed. This has now been rectified and the author apologises for the error.
