The C-V characteristics of an electrolyte/Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film/n-type amorphous corbathien-silicon structure have been studied. The LB films of corbathien have been established to be stable toward a 1 M KCl aqueous solution in the absence of polarization. The films are electrochemically decomposed during cathodic polarization. The LB corbathien films are electroneutral, and the relative dielectric constant was estimated as ε≈4-6.
