The transmission coefficients for Druyvesteyn distribution function is the subject of this study. A Druyvesteyn distribution function is used to descrirbe the bounded plasma, and the complex permittivity for the plasma with Druyvesteyn distribution is derived. Based on this, the transmission of electromagnetic wave in the plasma with Druyvesteyn distribution and the Maxwellian distribution is also analyzed. The effects of collision frequency and electron density on the transmission are investigated. The results showed that there's a great deal of variability between Druyvesteyn distribution and Maxwellian distribution which is an idealized model to describe plasma. Comparing the results obtained, it is of great importance to analyze the interaction between electromagnetic waves and plasma and also provides a theoretical basis for the experiments.
