N2 - Blood microcirculation was studied by capillary analysis of the nail ridge and by assessment of red cell aggregability in the course of treatment of 53 patients with diffuse neurodermatitis complicated by a secondary infection. The intensity of metabolic processes in the skin was assessed by long-distance infrared thermography of the upper limbs. Autotransfusion of UV-irradiated blood making use of Izolda MD-73M apparatus were used in the treatment of group 1 patients (n = 38), group 2 patients (n = 15) were administered traditional and local therapy. UV-irradiated blood autotransfusions resulted in reduction of red cell aggregability normalization of microvessel tone, and were associated with blood flow improvement in the skin and increase of temperature in the upper limbs.
