The problem is studied of how multiple Coulomb scattering and the external longitudinal magnetic field affect the resistive sausage instability of a relativistic electron beam propagating in a gas-plasma medium with nonzero ohmic conductivity. It is shown that these factors significantly reduce the amplitude of the sausage mode.
