N2 - It is shown that up to 1 at. % of manganese can be added to glasses of the Sb-Ge-Se system. In glasses with a concentration of up to 0. 5 at. % of Mn, the structural units containing manganese are statistically distributed in the glass matrix. An exchange interaction begins with a concentration of Mn of 0. 5-1. 0 at. %, and this is associated with the formation of Mn-containing associates. With more than 1. 0 at. % of Mn (1-2 at. %), it is also possible to find the formation of microcrystalline phases containing Mn. The crystalline phase of the composition MnSe appears in alloys with an Mn concentration of 2. 5 at. %. The addition of manganese to glasses of the Sb-Ge-Se system is not accompanied by any significant change in their physicochemical properties.
