The article shows what logical patterns influence the course of persuasion in a dispute, and how its participants model the formation of the desired epistemic attitudes. It is shown that such attitudes are of a potential nature and arise in the course of analyzing the combination of the agent's existing attitudes with the information obtained in the dispute. The definitions of truth for some epistemic operators are formulated.
