N2 - Sunspot and polar faculae have been compared to analyze causal-phase relationships between the low- and high-latitude solar phenomena. We found that the polar faculae in minima correlate better with preceding sunspot cycle, than next cycle. Similarities between the Schwabe cycles on the eve of the previous Grand minima and the current activity indicate the onset of the next Grand minima.
