We report here the first data on the distribution of neuroglobin in the human cerebellum, obtained from immunohistochemical studies. Reactions for neuroglobin were seen in all the cases studied (n = 7), though its intensity varied. Clear reactions were seen in Purkinje cells and in the cerebellar glomeruli.
