The dipole moment functions of the iodine D′2g A′2u and D0+u a′0+ g transitions in the ranges of 3.04.8 and 3.14.1 Å have been determined for the first time by means of simulation of the luminescence spectra from the D′ vD′ = 58, JD′ = 39 and D, vD = 13, 18; JD = 26 rovibronic levels, respectively. The dipole moment functions of the iodine E0+gB0 +u and D0+uX0+ g transitions have also been re-examined using a more perfect than employed earlier method of calibration of the spectral sensitivity function of the condenser/monochromator/detector system.
