This article discusses two classes of models that describe the development dynamics of the industry labor force with pure competition. In the first case, it is assumed that the factors influencing the production process are strictly deterministic. The second class of models is based on the assumption of stochastic dynamics of external (exogenous) parameters. In the first case, a deterministic model of the development dynamics of the industry labor forces is formulated. In the second case, its generalization to the stochastic case is considered.
