New notions about the structure of a thick grey-coloured sequence of quaternary deposits in the northern part of Western Siberia and the Pechora basin are explained. Interpretation of space and high-altitude imagery at different scales combined with generalisation of geological data showed that the whole north Pleistocene consists of a sequence of continental glaciation sediments with non-continuous lenses of interglacial deposits. - from ITC Bibliography
