An investigation is made of the deformation properties of materials with different crystallography and martensitic transformation kinetics. It is shown that during cooling of the loaded metal, deformation is observed in the direction of the applied force, but after unloading in the range of the transformation, depending on the kinetics of the phase reaction, either deformation of an oriented transformation, or the shape memory effect, or reverse shape change can occur during further cooling.
