The flag phrasems Germ. internationale Solidarität, Russ. международная/ интернациональная солидарность combine the characteristics of a flagword and a phrasem, contain an evaluative and positive connoted lexeme with a high ethical value, and possess the characteristics of a discursive unit. They are used more frequently during positive discursively relevant events such as the World Festivals of Youth and Students. The analysis of collocations with the flag phrasem also shows that the flag phrasem is becoming part of the state doctrine of the communist states and is therefore gradually being replaced by a new flag phrasem antiimperialistische Solidarität/ антиимпериалистическая солидарность.
