Hereby we add six new compounds to this palette, using 1,n-bis(3-methylpyridinium)- or (4-methylpyridinium)alkane dications; the complexes were characterized by X-ray diffractometry and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). We discuss also all previous results in this field, including quantum chemistry investigation of the features of XB in such compounds.
