A number of primary natural frequencies of flexural and torsional vibrations have been determined experimentally for specimens cut from a unidirectional CFRP plate at angles 0 and 90° to the reinforcement direction. The values of vibrations yielded primary values of elasticity and shear module, which were then corrected basing on the comparison of the experimental data and theoretical calculations of the frequencies of coupled flexural-torsional vibrations of specimens cut at the angles 15, 30, 45, 60, 75°. A good agreement of the calculated and experimental data has been obtained, and the necessity is shown of considering the flexural-torsional interaction in studying the natural vibrations for the specimens, whose longitudinal axes do not coincide with the axis of elasticity symmetry.
