Powders of electroactive polymers are obtained using the reaction of hydrogen peroxide with acidic solutions containing aniline, o-aminophenol, or their mixture. These polymers are considered as counterparts of polyaniline obtained in the course of cathodic oxygen reduction, which is confirmed by the similarity of their electrochemical properties. IR-spectra of the obtained powders prove that their structures are in many ways similar.
