Combined examination (X ray radiography of the chest, linear tomography, computerized tomography, fibrobronchoscopy) was carried out in 42 patients with central lung cancer. The diagnosis was verified at transbronchial biopsy and in 2 cases at autopsy. Data of the combined examination were in a good correlation with morphological data.
