Phase composition of catalysts for the processing of high-boiling by-products of isoprene production from isobutylene and formaldehyde was determined. A comparison of the chemical structure of the most effective K-97 and K-15 catalysts made it possible to find the role of boron oxide in the decrease in the coke formation.
