N2 - We report on experimental investigations of the structure of electric (ionic) wind in the wire-versus-plane electrode system with a constant interelectrode gap and variable wire-tilt angle relative to the plane. Characteristic wind-velocity distributions were determined using a laser Doppler anemometry technique. It is established that the position of the narrow central jet of the wind significantly changes depending on the tilt of the corona-forming electrode.
