The free linear low-frequency vibrations of two rods joint by a small angle are considered. In evaluating the lowest frequencies of the rods only flexural vibrations are usually considered. In the problem it is necessary to take into account the longitudinal vibrations. The vibration frequencies of the joint rods for the different boundary conditions and values of parameters are calculated.
