N2 - The stability of axisymmetric equilibrium states of inhomogeneous plate under uniform pressure is considered. The calculations were carried out for different laws of material homogeneity. It is shown that if the elasticity modulus decreases away from the center of a plate, the critical pressure for unsymmetric buckling is significantly lower than for a plate with constant mechanical properties (up to a factor 7) and the loss of stability of the axisymmetric forms occurres with formation of a greater number of circumferential waves than for uniform plate.
