N2 - An automated system is described which uses fast analog-to-digital (A/D) converters and buffer storage to record data on fast processes. The system is designed to record the kinetic, temperature, and other characteristics of physicochemical processes. When used with an MSKh-3A mass spectrometer the system can record the amplitudes of four mass peaks accurate to within 0. 2% for partial pressures approximately 10** minus **1**0 Pa and a dynamic amplitude range of greater than equivalent to 10**3. A minimum of 20 mu sec is required to record four peaks (10 mu sec for two peaks).
