Results of the AMT soundings method at study of structural features of kimberlite hosting rocks of the Mirninsky field (Yakutia diamond bearing province) are considered. Conductive zone of N-E orientation, which control localization of kimberlite pipes, was marked out. Features of behavior of the most typical horizons of cross section (water filled layer under sole of frozen rocks and underlying salt bearing horizon) are analyzed. Estimation of informative value of the AMTS method at investigations of structure of kimberlite fields is given.
