The inverse problem of the joint retrieval of the vertical profiles of dynamic parameters in the atmosphere with stratus clouds from ground-based microwave measurements is formulated and investigated. The method of solving the problem is based on the application of the microwave transfer equation and the equations of heat and moisture balance in the form of a numerical model of a cloudy atmosphere. It is shown that if the brightness temperature measurement errors are in the range 0.2-1.0 K, the potential accuracy of determination of air flow vertical velocity is 0.5-0.7 cm s-1 and the accuracy of determination of cloud droplet's gravitational sedimentation velocity is 5-7 cm s-1 in the area of the maximum of the cloud liquid water profile. Errors of the turbulence coefficient determination can reach 70-80%.
