title = "Analysis of stress-strain state of a human eye by the method of elastotonometry after the surgical correction of hyperopia",
abstract = "The mathematical model of measuring of the intraocular pressure (IOP) by Maklakoff tonometer in the software package ANSYS, Inc. is presented. The dependence of the tonometric pressure on the weight of the tonometer before and after LASIK and Femto LASIK surgical corrections of hyperopia is analized. Cornea-scleral eye shell is modeled as two thin transversely isotropic joint spherical shells with different radii of curvature and biomechanical properties. To analyze the biomechanical state of the corneoscleral shell of the eye after the surgery the elastotonometry method is used. Firstly sequential measurements of intraocular pressure by Maklakoff tonometers weighting 5; 7.5; 10 and 15 g is carried out, then the dependence curve of tonometric IOP vs. tonometer weight is plotted and analyzed. The results of the calculations are compared with the clinical data.",
