Aerodynamic drag of a circular cylinder in transverse flow of gas suspension is experimentally investigated. Experiments were conducted in a wind tunnel with flow rate ranged from 0.01 to 2.7 kg/s. Powders of 4000 kg/m3 density were used as solid. Investigation of parameters of two-phase working flow showed the nonuniformity along the middle cross section of the model for speed profile of bearing phase (air) being better 2 to 3 percent, solid particle velocity less than 3 to 4 percent, and discrete phase density 8 to 10 percent. Introduction of solid impurity into gas flow with Reynolds number equal 105 results in decreasing in cylinder resistance. Empirical formula is proposed to define main parameters influencing the body resistance in flow of gas suspension.
