Matrix elements of the energy operator of contact interactions are obtained for a number of two-electron configurations. For the example of pp and p⁵p configurations, it is shown that these interactions can be described both in the LSJM-representation using expressions proposed in [1] and on the basis of the matrix elements of the energy operator of electrostatic interaction. Analysis of the results obtained is performed.
