N2 - A modified hydrodynamic approach using a nonequilibrium equation of state is used to describe heavy-ion collisions at intermediate energies. The calculated energy spectra of protons produced in heavyion collisions are compared to experimental data and the results from calculations based on solving the Vlasov–Uehling–Uhlenbeck (VUU) kinetic equation.
