A pandemic that has become a threat to the lives of millions of people and a shock for almost all countries, required the mobilization of internal resources from each of them, as well as the search for new technologies of public administration. The end of the pandemic is far away, a vaccine has not yet been found, but the significance of the efforts of national governments to combat the epidemic is already visible. From the point of view sociology of management, it is extremely important to use this natural experimental platform to identify the range of new technologies, to argue for their "embedment" in national traditions and to evaluate their comparative effectiveness by selecting evaluation criteria. The article compares the technologies of state regulation of the situation with the pandemic, used by different countries. Their grouping is carried out along a functional line: the general direction, including the size and forms of financing (1), healthcare (2), social policy (3), business assistance (4).
