The article deals with the analysis of the language representation and the revelation of the anthropocentric aspects of the concept NATURE. The undertaken research aims at revealing the representation of the concepts NATURE and HUMAN in the English language fiction and defining the semantic basis for their interaction. The novelty of the investigation is manifested in the methodological approach embracing the semantic definition analysis with the соgnitive and semantic description of the concept representatives functioning in the text. The originality of the work is also confirmed by the complex investigation algorithm devised in this work. The basic results of the work embrace the substantiation of the perception and reflection correlation within the cognitive and information situation. The analysis also reveals the emotive potential of the concept NATURE and proves the reasonability of its subsequent study in the bounds of the event situation.
