The catalytic activity of C,N-chelated diaminocarbene palladium(II) complexes containing 3,4-diaryl-1 H -pyrrol-2,5-diimine fragment in the copper free Sonogashira reaction was studied. Reactions catalyzed by C,N-chelated diaminocarbene palladium(II) complexes do not require preliminary degassing, since the catalysts used are air- and moisture-stable. In this work, a comparative analysis of the catalytic activity of two types of C, N-chelate diaminocarbene complexes containing in the internal coordination sphere in addition to the diaminocarbene ligand: 1) isonitrile and chloride ligands; 2) two chloride ligands was carried out. The influence of steric and electronic effects of substituents in the catalyst on the reaction yield has been studied.
