The authors present the scope of discursive competence of a foreigner able to speak Russian at level B2. The scope of discursive competence includes the ability to generate and understand texts in the following spheres of human life: private / personal life, educational activity, professional activity, civil activity, social activity, man and nature. Each area is represented by a set of oral and written model texts.
