The purpose of this article is the identification, mapping and classification of Russian caricatures of XIXth - the middle of the XXth century, associated with A.S. Pushkin. As a base method the author used reviewing a lot of satirical and humorous magazines of pre-revolutionary and Soviet ones, archival and museum collections. The author has identified 60 caricatures dedicated to the poet (9 of them in his lifetime, the researchers studied earlier). Part of the post-mortem caricatures are associated with Pushkin, introduced in the scientific circulation. The caricatures are systematized in 8 thematic blocks: friendly and secular caricatures 1810-1830s; -Pushkin and Muse‖; -Pushkin and the state of literature‖; -Pushkin and the classics of literature‖; variations of the monument to Pushkin; admirers of the poet; -Pushkin and his last apartment‖, -Shadow of Pushkin‖. It is concluded that studying the grotesque heritage, we can know the opinions of his contemporaries, and learn the external and internal characteristics of the poet, which are often hidden from us.
