В статье анализируется Послание президента России Д. А. Медведева Федеральному собранию РФ 2008 г. с точки зрения поиска наиболее существенных отличий от тех текстов Посланий, которые были подготовлены и озвучены в свое время президентом В. В. Путиным. Автор считает, что фактически этот текст построен по канонам предвыборной программы и, хотя он был подготовлен группой спичрайтеров и помощников президента, позволяет все же оценить собственные политические взгляды Д. А. Медведева.
