Using Fura-2AM microfluorimetry we have shown for the first time that lipoxygenase inhibitors baicalein and caffeic acid
significantly reduce Ca2+-entry induced by drug glutoxim in rat peritoneal macrophages. The results support our earlier data
about lipoxygenase pathway of arachidonic acid metabolism involvement in the maintenance of glutoxim-induced Ca2+-entry in
macrophages.
