Резюме. Пятьдесят лет, истекшие со дня принятия Всеобщей декларации прав человека, по сути дела, вместили в себя целую эпоху. Принятие декларации стало отправной точкой для развития целого направления в международном сотрудничестве, формирования самостоятельной отрасли международного права. За короткий по историческим меркам отрезок времени сотрудничество в сфере прав человека превратилось в фактор, определяющий лицо современных межгосударственных отношений. Не будем забывать, что начиналось все это ровно пятьдесят лет назад именно с принятием Всеобщей декларации прав человека. Она была первым шагом. Следующие шаги делать значительно проще, если только есть воля добиться желаемого результата.

Resume. The fifty years since the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights have, in fact, spanned an entire epoch. The adoption of the declaration was the starting point for the development of a whole direction in international cooperation, the formation of an independent branch of international law. In a short period of time, by historical standards, cooperation in the field of human rights has become a factor that determines the face of modern interstate relations. Let us not forget that all this began exactly fifty years ago with the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It was the first step. The next steps are much easier to do, if only there is the will to achieve the desired result.
