The thematic issue “Political PR and Propaganda in Digital Society” covers a wide range of topics that can be divided into three blocks. The first block examines the theoretical problems of the transformation of political communication in a digital society. First of all, we are talking about the emergence of new players in the information space, as well as the transformation of old ones, which raises questions in the field of adaptation of political elites to changing reality. The second block of articles is devoted to the analysis of the foreign experience of modern political communications, including the countries of North America, Europe, and also Russia. The third block of articles focuses on the study of applied Internet communications technologies. It is an analysis of technologies such as managing virtual communities, increasing political mobilization on social networks and using framing on political blogs to shape the country's image. The issue is aimed at specialists in the field of political communication and applied political science.
